       A Guide to Church Construction  

In addition to authoring Preparing to Build, I've been a church building consultant since the late 90's. I have written several articles, am a past contributing editor to Church & Worship Technology Magazine, a seminar speaker, and currently a church building consultant for the NC Baptist Convention

In the mid-90’s I was "volunteered" to serve as the building committee chair person of our church. Knowing I did not really know much about how to build a church, I began an odyssey of learning that continues even to this day. One of the things that I quickly discovered was that there were few available resources and little help to be had, especially if you were not part of a main-line denomination. My mission became one of ministry to the church in this important area – to encourage and equip the church to help it win souls for the Kingdom of God.
